There is an administration fee charged for responding to enquiries about the road, scaled to the amount of time and research required to answer the solicitor’s questions. As an indicative cost, the fee will be £100 for up to the first hour and pro-rata thereafter, so therefore depends on the nature and number of questions.

Construction
Prior to the commencement of any building works developers (or residents who are adding additional properties to their land) must contact WURA in the first instance to sign an agreement and a Construction Logistics Plan (CLP) must be agreed. A CLP is required for any type of development that may have an impact on the public highway.
Resident/Member building and landscape work
Residents adding rooms to existing properties and/or substantial landscaping projects are subject to a levy based on the extra traffic generated. WURA zone roads include spur roads only accessible via Welcomes and Uplands Roads which are maintained at the expense of the frontagers.
